Summary
This paper is a discussion on human rights education in China. Three major channels for dissemination of legal knowledge and shaping of values are examined — moral education, formal legal education and informal public legal education – against the backdrop of the UN definition of human rights education and in relation to different approaches to human rights education discussed in the first section of the article.
