ملخص
This article presents a critical approach to human rights education in Costa Rica. It starts with an analysis of different institutions and the relevance of human rights education to their activities. Following this, it includes a study of the role of human rights education in the instruction imparted in primary and secondary schools, as well as universities. Also scrutinized are NGOs and non-educational state bodies. Lastly, the authors consider public diffusion of human rights, mainly through the media and some non-educational state bodies such as the ombudsman.
